LAPD IMPOUNDS OVER 50 CARS FROM THE LA RIVER FOR JUST MEETING

More than 50 cars were impounded by LAPD after a large automotive gathering inside the Los Angeles River in Cypress Park over the weekend. According to reports, more than 100 vehicles had assembled in the riverbed when officers arrived and informed attendees they were trespassing on restricted property.

Drivers at the scene said the meet was peaceful and that no burnouts, takeovers, or reckless driving had taken place before tow trucks began hauling away vehicles. Swipe to watch a video from the scene.
