POLICE ROLL OUT GPS DARTS TO AVOID CHASING SPEED SUSPECTS

Police departments across the country are rolling out GPS tracking darts to reduce dangerous high-speed chases. The system fires an adhesive tracking device onto a fleeing vehicle. Once attached, officers can back off and monitor the car’s location, speed, and direction in real time instead of continuing the pursuit.
